Hugo Sanchez is a fine art photographer, based in Basalt, CO. A lifetime creative, photography has been his passion for many years. To him, life is all about perspective.

Growing up in the concrete jungle of Sacramento, CA, it was tough to see that perspective; hard to see beyond the daily rat race and ingrained quest for more. His outlook changed twelve years ago when he moved to the mountains of Colorado and started spending most weekends in the woods, without cell service or distractions, camera in hand. He began really seeing the beautiful details in a rotting aspen tree; a spider on a wisp of grass; cracks in the mud. He began to understand that ugliness and beauty are often separated by nothing more than the willingness to stop and truly see.

Nature is the art he is captivated by, driven by a conviction that perspective is everything. How we choose to see the world around us quietly shapes the world within us. Nature is the true artist; Hugo is just there to capture it and share it with the world.
